YEEZY GAP (NYSE:GPS +1.01%) is dominating the headlines at the moment, with the Kanye West-helmed partnership opening its first physical store in Times Square and its collection made under the YEEZY GAP ENGINEERED BY BALENCIAGA vision offering a virtual game experience, and now the second collection from the latter effort has dropped again.
The collection was officially released on the official YEEZY GAP website on May 27, but now finds itself on Balenciaga’s website which sees the collection restock in full. First and foremost, we find the Round Jacket in black nylon stretch ciré sitting alongside cuts and pieces that have become a signature look for Kanye West over the years, each finely tuned by Demna.
For example, a hoodie branded with muted GAP capitals on the front and a dove motif on the rear makes for the best piece of ready-to-wear, while a three-quarter sleeve top sports the same graphic design on an equally oversized, boxy piece. Tiny GAP logos — reminiscent of the fashion label’s sizing stickers that decorate its pieces in store — grace second-skin tops and another three-quarter singlet, subsequently rounding out Balenciaga’s offerings.
